Held every three years, the International dsRNA symposium is the premier conference for virologists interested in the biology of dsRNA viruses. The 2018 symposium will be held in Houffalize in the beautiful Ardennes region of Belgium. The conference venue is close to Brussels, which provides easy access for European and international travelers. The symposium offers scientists from around the world the opportunity to meet and hear the most up to date advances on a broad area of topics in double-stranded RNA virology. The organizing committee have selected an international group of dynamic speakers to present plenary talks on topics including virus structure, diversity of dsRNA viruses, evolution and epidemiology, using and abusing host pathways, immunity and pathogenesis, molecular and cellular virology, and applied dsRNA virology. Students, post-docs and scientists in the field of dsRNA virology are encouraged to present their recent findings at the symposium
